this is a really good game of all time
cool spot is a game in which you play as spot. you know, the guy from the 7 up logo? is he even a guy? or like, a gendered entity? it's literally a fucking dot in between 7 and up like what the fuck is marketable about that are you fucking kidding me WELL whatevver he has sunglasses and those are cool

the game is freaking awesome because it's structured like an average European sidescroller (by which the standard. IS GOOD). seriously what was it with europe and making dogshit 16-bit platformers? why were they so obsessed with this like, aimless labyrinthine style? it wasn't good in james pond, zool, or anything else of this sort and it's surely not good in cool spot but you clollect the dots (maybe exteneded famiely?) so thats nice :) unfortunately the game is boring... NOT... its the oppostite of borign
i think it probably says a lot that i've played "wild woody", one of the worst-feeling platformers ever made, to completion and yet i've never felt compelled to beat a single level in cool spot. you want a good licensed soda mascot game? play fucking pepsi man. pepsi man is the SHIT. but in fairness, pepsiman doesnt wear sunglasseses so can you really say hes as coal? i really should give coolspot a more thorugh look because even though im not a fan of cool whip i think spots are a lot more interesting. maybe my tolerance for (really good) platformers has gone up over the years so idk ill try it
