CYANOTIC: TRANSHUMAN

the best industrial metal album
you've never heard

when this genre is done justice, i swear it's one of my favorites period. but it rarely ever is even halfway decent. i'm not a fear factory fan, powerman 5000 sucks and static-x blows. so what sets cyanotic apart?

i'd say it's the fact that they don't sound like fucking pop-metal. that's always been my sticking point with this genre. it's too frequently trying to cash in on nu-metal's wave. it's too disturbed and not enough slayer, y'know? you're not gonna get annoyingly sung clean vocals here and you're not gonna get radio-friendly danciness either

this is hard-hitting metal made by dudes who obviously listen to copious amounts of industrial that spans beyond the work of trent reznor. it's edgy as fuck and that's why i love it
